Mr. Allex’s thirty years of architectural experience include, municipal, educational, parks, churches, banks, shopping centers, restaurants, multi-screen movie theaters, industrial facilities, commercial remodeling, and leasing finish-out. Mr. Allex manages the Harlingen branch office. In that capacity, Mr. Allex has served as Principal, Architect and Project Manager of projects for UTRGV, Texas Southmost College, The City of Harlingen, La Feria, South Padre Island, Harlingen CISD, Brownsville ISD, First Community Bank, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health and Texas Regional Bank. He has been instrumental in production of construction documents for projects at the Marine Military Academy, Padre Island Brewing Company and the Ronald McDonald House.
Mr. Allex is Past Chairman of the Harlingen Chamber of Commerce and is a 1995 graduate of Leadership Harlingen. Mike has also been the Past Chairman for the Harl-
ingen Construction Board of Appeals and the Board of Planning and Zoning. He currently is a board member and hold the office of Treasurer on the Harlingen
Economic Development Corporation. He is past Chairman for the Jackson Street Jubilee-Harlingen’s annual street festival. He is past District Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Allex is a Past President of the Lower Rio Grande Valley - American Institute of Architects and Past Vice-President of The Texas Society of Architects.
