Mr. Figueroa specializes in project management of public and private projects. He directs his major efforts toward overall management to assure that each phase of the project development is properly implemented. This entails coordination of the initial programming of clients’ needs and the project schedule, as well as continuous client contact to over see that all requirements are met from the construction documents through project completion. Mr. Figueroa will remain personally involved from the date of the interview through contractual negotiations, programming, design, contract award, construction and warranty period. Mr. Figueroa, is a former student of retired partners Zeb Rike, AIA and Dan Ogden, AIA in the 1974 Pan American University Pre Architecture Program. After graduating in 1977 from Texas A & M University with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Design and with 8 months experience in architecture he joined Rike Ogden Architects in 1978 and again in 1981 after completing the Texas A & M University Masters Program in Architecture. Elevated to Associate in 1983 and Principal in 1985 Mr. Figueroa has managed projects for most school districts in the Rio Grande Valley including Zapata ISD and Freer ISD.
Mr. Figueroa is the past President of the L.R.G.V. Chapter/American Institute of Architects, past Director, Texas Society of Architects, Leadership McAllen Class III Alumni, past Chair-
man of the Ambulance Evaluation Advisory Board for the City of McAllen, past President of McAllen Affordable Homes, Inc., past President of Affordable Homes of South Texas, past President of McAllen Palm City Lions Club, is currently serving as LRGVDC / Housing Advisory Committee Member. Mr. Figueroa continues to serve as Facilities Architectural Consultant for Benedictine Monastery of the Good Shepard, RGC TX. And orphanage Niños Milagros de Dios, A.C. Casa Hogar de Niños, Progreso, Mexico.
